Next Gen Player No. 3 – Frances Tiafoe

2018 has been a breakthrough year for the 20-year-old American, winning his first ATP singles title on home soil in Delray Beach. On the way to that title, he beat Juan Martin del Potro in a very impressive win.

He reached another final at the clay tournament in Estoril where he lost to Portuguese native João Sousa in the final. His solid results this year saw him break into the top 40 in August. Tiafoe was an alternate at last year’s event, so he will have to draw from that experience to have a good run.
