Murray’s compact swing allows him to get the head of his racket to most any serve. He is strong from both sides, so servers cannot pick on one side of the box. Murray’s footwork is outstanding and he is so quick. He reads the ball well and sometimes knows where the serve is going before the ball is struck. The same advantage that servers like Raonic and Isner have when they hold the ball, Murray has when he returns.
