Indian Wells Quarterfinals: Ranking the Final Eight
What a week it has been in the California desert. Some of the favorites that were thought to be contenders have fallen to the wayside. Stan Wawrinka is nowhere to be found. Kei Nishikori was ousted by Feliciano Lopez. Bernard Tomic took care of David Ferrer. The Big Four are all still active and likely the favorites entering their quarterfinal matches. But that is why the games are played.
Will the top four players move on? Berdych and Raonic have been trying to crack the tennis elite for years. Will they do it this year at Indian Wells? Feliciano Lopez played amazing tennis to knock out Nishikori. Bernard Tomic is a youngster win a few big wins this week and one of the most daunting tasks in tennis: beating Novak Djokovic on a hard court.
