Lucie Safarova is one of the most in-form players on the circuit at the moment.

The 28-year-old has been somewhat of a late bloomer as she has taken longer than expected to fulfill her potential, but she is well on the way on current form.

The Czech had never really pulled up any trees in the Grand Slams in her first decade or so on the circuit, but a final at the 2014 Australian Open and this year’s Roland Garros have put paid to that.

She was desperately close to causing a huge shock against Williams in the final in Paris, and is trying to go a couple of steps further than her last four appearance in London last year.

Verdict – A Massive Danger
