Ranking the Top 25 Women Post-Wimbledon

The lush grass courts have been covered, and the strawberries, cream and Pimm’s are being packed away. Wimbledon has come and gone for another year. The All-England Club provided yet another series of intriguing stories and shocking upsets to contribute to the tapestry of storylines underpinning the WTA tour in 2015.

Just missing the cut are three women who had unremarkable runs at Wimbledon, amidst much more impressive years.

Elina Svitolina, Sabine Lisicki and Irina Camelia-Begu each exited the tournament in straight sets during the first week. To further their ascent in the rankings, each will have to find a way to consistently venture deep into grand slam draws.
