2. <p><strong>Roger Federer</strong> – Federer has demonstrated that despite being 33 years old, he still has the capacity to beat anyone on his day. The controlled way in which he dismantled Andy Murray in the semi finals was inspirational and alone makes him a deserving recipient for the Best Male award.</p> <p>After that serving performance, where he only faced (and saved) one break point all match, those who might have doubted he’ll ever win another Grand Slam probably paused for thought.</p> <p>Though he wasn’t able to win what would have been a record breaking eighth Wimbledon title in losing the final to Novak Djokovic, Federer has shown signs that his Grand Slam title drought might come to an end sooner rather than later. </p>.
