Tomas Berdych as Ser Jorah
Working tirelessly to prove themselves but seemingly always falling short, Tomas Berdych and Ser Jorah have had a similar trajectory. Berdych is almost the forgotten man at the top of the game, as he strives to prove his quality and improve his reputation, which has somewhat stagnated in recent years.
Ser Jorah himself is struggling for redemption having made mistakes in the past that can be forgiven but not forgotten in the eyes of others. He may have felt like he had done everything in his power to earn forgiveness with Daenerys, but there is still work to be done. Berdych, contrastingly, did escape the friend zone and is now a happily married man.
On the court, he must have felt he has bridged the gap between himself and those with power at the start of 2015, employing personnel from the Andy Murray camp for some experienced insight. Despite a lot of early promise, he has once again returned to the second tier.
