Jo Wilfried Tsonga – A run to the quarter finals might seem deserving of higher than an average ‘C’ grade for Tsonga, but in reality his natural ability should be getting him to this stage. His serve is so strong, but the rest of his game lacks the firepower of when he burst onto the scene.

John Isner – I was not alone in thinking that Isner would cause Roger Federer a lot more problems than he eventually did. It was quite a tame effort in the end and he will have to find a way to have more of an impact against the top guys if he is to make the next leap in the rankings.

Thomas Berdych – Berdych must be a frustrating player to coach. He clearly has the game to consistently make the latter stages of majors, but mentally he doesn’t seem to be able to string everything together on the big stage often enough.
