Victoria Azarenka will break her personal major drought.

Maybe a bit of a bias based on recent results, but Azarenka looked really good in winning probably the two biggest non-majors (excluding the Olympics). So I don’t think it’s a real stretch to imagine her winning one of the majors. The women’s tour has parity in it to a certain extent.  Sure, Williams is absolutely the best player on the tour.  But beyond her, there’s certainly a top-tier but it seems like almost anybody can beat anybody in any given match.

Azarenka hasn’t won a major since the 2013 Australian Open, but she has played in a final at the U.S. Open in 2013, where she lost to Williams.  That being said, it would be great for Azarenka to win another one.  And with Maria Sharapova out indefinitely this could be Azarenka’s time to win another major without as much opposition.

As to which one it is, I really don’t know.  But I think she’ll win one.
