Troicki began 2016 with a title in Sydney.

He defeated Grigor Dimitrov for the three set victory. While it was his sole title in 2016, Troicki experienced strong play throughout the year. The Serbian reached the third round at the Australian Open and a fourth round birth at Roland Garros.

At 30-years-old, Troicki has plenty of game left in his career.

The Serbian tennis player is enjoying some of his highest rankings in singles tennis over recent years and does not look to be slowing down.

In 2011, he reached No. 12 in the rankings and has been fighting to return to a top spot ever since. Djokovic is usually the Serbian professional tennis player discussed, but Troicki has the potential to win a major tournament in the near future.

He enters the 2017 ATP World Tour playing in tournaments where he has seen success. Troicki is a two-time defending champion in Sydney and should he win there, his game ought to translate well in the following week at the Australian Open.
