Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal are among the greatest tennis players to ever play the sport. Here’s a look at their career head-to-head breakdown.
Roger Federer just notched another victory over Rafael Nadal.
The 35-year-old Swiss tennis superstar defeated Nadal in the finals at the Miami Open. Federer wins his 14th ATP singles match against the Spaniard. Nadal, however, still has scoreboard.

Federer has had Nadal’s number as of late.
In their previous four meetings, the Swiss tennis player has come out on top. Before that, Nadal had a five match win streak over Federer.
Overall, Nadal leads Federer with a career record of 23-14 versus the Swiss tennis player. Several of their meetings have come on big stages. Their most recent meeting in Miami was a rematch of their 2005 match in the finals at the tournament. Federer took the title in Miami yet again.
Despite being the older of the two, Roger Federer has not lost a match to Rafael Nadal dating back to the 2014 Australian Open. It has been nearly three years since Rafa has taken an ATP singles match off of Federer.
The two players will continue to dominate the sport. There is no doubt that they are among the greatest, if not the greatest, tennis players in history.
