Andy Murray wins first match back from injury at Monte Carlo

Andy Murray wins his first match at the Monte Carlo Masters. It is Murray’s first ATP action since his early exit at the Indian Wells Masters.
Andy Murray is ready to bounce back from elbow injury.
The current world No. 1 in men’s singles tennis saw an early exit at Indian Wells before taking time off to recover from injury. He wins his opening round match at the 2017 Monte-Carlo Masters.

While Rafael Nadal is historically the dominant force at Monte Carlo, the field must watch out for Murray.
The world No. 1 defeats Gilles Muller in his opening round match. Murray takes the match in straight sets, winning 7-5, 7-5.
Muller, the current world No. 28, gave the top seeded Murray some trouble. Murray, however, rose to the occasion and fended off the pressure from Muller. Next up for the world No. 1 at Monte Carlo is Albert Ramos Vinolas.
The Spanish professional tennis player has not dropped a single set in his first two matches at Monte Carlo. He is the fifteenth seeded player at the tournament. Other top players still in action include Novak Djokovic, Marin Cilic, Stan Wawrinka, and David Goffin among others. Nadal, who is also still alive at Monte Carlo, is a nine-time winner and the defending champion at the tournament.
