David Goffin upsets Novak Djokovic in the quarterfinals at the Monte-Carlo Masters. The world No. 13 is into the semifinals at the tournament.
David Goffin is having a fantastic week at the Monte-Carlo Masters.
The world No. 13 upsets Serbian tennis star Novak Djokovic in the quarterfinals. He now moves into the semifinals and will face Rafael Nadal.

The meeting with Nadal is huge for Goffin.
Nadal is a nine-time winner at Monte Carlo and is also the defending champion. The Spanish tennis star defeated Diego Schwartzman of Argentina in the quarterfinals. He is searching for his first ATP title in 2017.
Goffin has a strong chance at the title in Monte Carlo.
The world No. 13 is surging at just the right time. With a match against Nadal, the Belgian player can continue an impressive streak of tennis if he claims victory. Before his win over Djokovic, Goffin also defeated world No. 9 Dominic Thiem.
While Nadal will remain the favorite at the Monte-Carlo Masters, David Goffin is a contender for the title. Lucas Pouille squares off against Albert Ramos-Vinolas in the other semifinal match at Monte Carlo. Ramos-Vinolas is fresh off wins against both Andy Murray and Marin Cilic.
Action in Monte Carlo is proving to be exciting so far. With Nadal searching for his tenth title, Goffin looking to break into the ATP top ten, and Ramos-Vinolas aiming to continue his string of upsets, there is no doubt that the tournament will see a thrilling conclusion.
