Novak Djokovic announces his split with his entire coaching team. The Serbian tennis superstar is now going at it solo with just weeks to go before the French Open.

Novak Djokovic is changing up his strategy yet again.

The Serbian tennis star has parted with his entire team less than a year after splitting with coach Boris Becker. Debates are swirling as to the strategy behind Djokovic’s decision.

There is no doubt that Djokovic is capable of going at his game solo for a certain period of time. The Serbian is a twelve-time Grand Slam singles winner.

His parting with the team ends a ten year successful relationship on tour. Many have noticed a change in Djokovic over the past year. With the surging play of Andy Murray in late 2016 and now the resurgence of both Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer, Djokovic needs to reestablish himself as the player to beat.

Coming into Roland Garros, Novak Djokovic will be the defending champion. He won his first ever French Open title over Murray last year. This time around, however, he will be without the regular team behind him.

Djokovic says that the parting is mutual and that all are in good spirits. Regardless of what is going on behind the scenes, the 29-year-old Serbian has unparalleled experience on tour. Look for Novak Djokovic to remain a top player in men’s singles tennis and stay tuned to see how his strategy evolves over the coming months.
