Jack Sock was born in Nebraska and moved to Kansas, a land based on the Wizard of Oz movie where Dorothy clicked her heels and magical things came true.

For Jack, it might have been lacing up his tennis shoes and getting on the court, and that was at a high school court too that his interest was sparked.
It was from the ITF Juniors and Challenger tournaments to the US Open Juniors and onward. Sock hasn’t hesitated to learn and become accomplished in this racket sport.
Sock’s first grand slam title unconventionally was in mixed doubles where he and Melanie Oudin paired up to capture the 2011 US Open mixed doubles title from the partners Gisela Dulko and Eduardo Schwank. He’s won gold at the Rio Olympics with Bethanie Mattek-Sands and Bronze in doubles with Stevie Johnson.
This year alone he’s created upsets by defeating Grigor Dimitrov and Kei Nishikori. Last year he had wins over Milos Raonic, Juan Martin delPotro and Alexander Zverev to name a few. He is a tennis guy that can be lethal on the court and everyone knows it.
