John Isner is into the round of 32 at the 2017 French Open. The American tennis player is riding high on the court this week.

The American tennis player is the current world No. 22 in men’s singles tennis. He is the 21st seeded player at the French Open this year and remains in action.

The Russian tennis player is the current world No. 53 in men’s singles tennis. He has one ATP singles title to his name throughout his career. His third round match against the American Isner is the furthest he has ever advanced at the French Open.
Isner remains alive at Roland Garros beyond the likes of standout American tennis player Jack Sock. The younger Sock is the current world No. 15 in men’s singles tennis and saw an unexpected early exit at the Grand Slam. Now, Isner has a chance to prove himself on the big stage.
The veteran Isner has 10 career ATP singles titles to his name.
He has reached the fourth round at Roland Garros twice in his career. A win against Khachanov would bring him his third appearance in the fourth round of play. Isner is coming off of a win over veteran Paolo Lorenzi of Italy. The American took the match in straight sets.
