Williams took to social media to ask McEnroe to respect her privacy while she is focusing on her pregnancy. She also commented that she has never played any men’s singles players in that way and that his comments were not factually based.
It is no surprise to see McEnroe making off the cuff comments.

On CBS News, the former world No. 1 re-ranked his all-time greats. Placing Roger Federer in the top position, he then put Williams at No. 5. McEnroe ranked her ahead of Novak Djokovic, who he placed at No. 6.
There is never a dull moment in life of John McEnroe. Williams remains away from the WTA Tour while pregnant. The American superstar won the 2017 Australian Open earlier this year. Another former world No. 1, Victoria Azarenka, recently returned to action after giving birth to her son Leo.
