Young put up a fight in the second set but fell short to the world No. 4. Djokovic is looking to gain some much needed momentum heading into Wimbledon.
Also winning their quarterfinals matches were Gael Monfils and Daniil Medvedev. Still to play are John Isner and Richard Gasquet. Monfils, the No. 2 seed this week, also won his quarterfinals match in straight sets.
Novak Djokovic is a three-time winner at Wimbledon. Seeing some struggles so far on the 2017 ATP World Tour, the world No. 4 would do well to finish out Eastbourne with a title going into Wimbledon.
Finding his rhythm on grass is critical going into next week.
His most recent Wimbledon title came in 2015. There, he defeated Swiss tennis superstar Roger Federer for the title. Both Federer and Rafael Nadal have Grand Slam titles so far in 2017.
