Reaching the second week at Wimbledon is impressive for anyone, including a former world No. 1. The deep run at the major tournament is critical for Wozniacki right now. She has risen to the world No. 6 ranking in women’s singles this year, seeing four finals appearances already.
There is no doubt that Caroline Wozniacki will claim a WTA singles title in the near future.
The Danish tennis player is yet to win a Grand Slam singles title. She has, however, reached two US Open finals and has 25 WTA titles to her name. Her big match and tournament experience sets her up to be a formidable contender for the Wimbledon women’s singles title in week two.
