Azarenka recently returned to competitive WTA Tour action following the birth of her son Leo. The time off does not seem to be impacting the former world No. 1’s play at Wimbledon so far.

The Belarusian tennis star upset fifteenth seed Elena Vesnina in her second round match before defeating Heather Watson in the round of 32. Now, she must carry all of her momentum into the matchup with Simona Halep.

The No. 2 seed at Wimbledon this year, Halep is a strong contender for the title.

While top seed Angelique Kerber also remains alive, Halep did finish runner-up at the French Open.

She appears poised to win not just a title, but a Grand Slam. The Romanian tennis star is seeking her first ever major tournament title.
