After the tough first set, the world No. 1 took control of the match. He cruises to a three-set victory over Paire.

Andy Murray wins 7-6 (1), 6-4, 6-4.

Paire, the current world No. 46 had a strong showing at Wimbledon 2017. He could not, however, take down the top seeded Murray in the fourth round. The British tennis star remains undefeated against Paire, now 2-0 against him in ATP singles action.

The world No. 1 and Marin Cilic are the first two in men’s singles to advance on Monday.

Cilic takes his match against Roberto Bautista Agut in straight sets.

Top players such as Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic are still to play on Monday. Federer may have the most difficult of the fourth round matchups as he takes on Grigor Dimitrov. The thirteenth seeded Dimitrov is surging as of late. There is no doubt that he will bring his best game to the court against Federer.

Andy Murray is looking to defend his Wimbledon title. Last year, he defeated Milos Raonic in the finals. The Canadian tennis player is also in action on Monday. He takes on Alexander Zverev for a chance at the quarterfinals. Zverev has been red hot so far at Wimbledon. The remaining field in men’s singles is highly competitive. While Murray may remain the favorite for the title, anyone has a shot at Wimbledon glory this week.
