Caroline Wozniacki announces her engagement to professional basketball player David Lee. The former world No. 1 is also fresh off of a WTA Finals title.

Caroline Wozniacki is loving life right now.

The former world No. 1 is fresh off of her first ever WTA Finals title. On top of that, she is now officially engaged to boyfriend David Lee. The two announced the engagement to fans via Wozniacki’s social media accounts.

Wozniacki is hands down one of the best players in women’s singles tennis in 2017. Her season includes a 60-21 singles match record to go along with two WTA Tour titles. She is a former world No. 1 and proving it as of late.

The happy couple announced their engagement while vacationing in Bora Bora after Wozniacki’s WTA Finals win. The two could not be any happier, with Wozniacki all smiles when referring to her soulmate.

Lee is a former NBA champion while playing with the Warriors in 2015. The 34-year-old is also two-time NBA All-Star. He has played for the New York Knicks, Golden State Warriors, Boston Celtics, Dallas Mavericks and San Antonio Spurs throughout the course of his career.

Caroline Wozniacki is 27-years-old and entering yet another era of her impressive career. Her 2017 WTA Finals win makes her a strong contender for a Grand Slam title in the next year. She remains in search of her first ever Grand Slam win. At the WTA Finals this year, the former world No. 1 defeated American tennis star Venus Williams 6-4, 6-4 to claim glory.

Look for Wozniacki to come out as one of the players to beat on the 2018 WTA Tour. She and others such as year-end No. 1 Simona Halep appear to have found their rhythm in 2017. With women’s singles tennis seeing a resurgence of young talent, players like Wozniacki provide a fantastic mix of experience and youth. The Danish tennis star will enjoy her offseason this year.
