Making his debut at the end of year finals, Dimitrov is looking to cap off an impressive 2017 ATP World Tour. The current world No. 6 has three ATP singles titles to his name this year.

With a 44-19 singles record in 2017, Grigor Dimitrov is finishing what might be his best year yet.

Group stage action rolls on at The O2 Arena in London. Year-end world No. 1 Rafael Nadal is in action Monday afternoon at the ATP Finals. He squares off against David Goffin in a much anticipated opening match.

The Spanish superstar has had a lingering knee injury as of late. Forced to withdraw from the quarterfinals at the Paris Masters last week, Nadal will take to the court today in hopes of competing at full strength. He has been seen practicing this week in London, but fans and players alike will be eager to see just how healthy Nadal is.

Grigor Dimitrov has greatly improved his chances of advancing through the round robin stage. The opening match win gives him two more chances to solidify his place in the semifinals. In the other group action, Roger Federer and Alexander Zverev secured early wins. The two will face one another next at The O2 Arena. While Federer, who is a six-time champion at the event, is the heavy favorite, Zverev does have a 2-2 head-to-head record against him. A win for Sascha Zverev would be huge for the Next Generation tennis star.
