Radek Stepanek joins team Djokovic, Nole set for 2018 run

Radek Stepanek is joining team Djokovic for the coming 2018 ATP World Tour. The recently retired tennis player joins Andre Agassi on the team.
Radek Stepanek is not even retired one year and he already has a new job.
The Czech tennis veteran ended his playing career after undergoing back surgery in early 2017. Now, he can continue to put his mark on the sport of tennis through his new coaching gig.

Stepanek joins Novak Djokovic and company. The Czech will also be coaching alongside tennis great Andre Agassi. Djokovic, who is a twelve-time Grand Slam champion, has reinvented his team over the past year.
Novak Djokovic last won a Grand Slam singles title in 2016.
The Serbian tennis star is entering a new era of his career. Any veteran coaching talent that he can add to the team will only further his chances of success on the 2018 ATP World Tour.
After parting ways with Boris Becker, many questioned whether or not Djokovic could continue to win Grand Slam titles. His rebuilding in 2017 was cut short due to a lingering injury, but he appears to be in fine playing shape as of late. A six-time champion at the Australian Open, there is no doubt that the former world No. 1 will look to make a run at Melbourne Park.

Radek Stepanek reached as high as the wold No. 8 position in men’s singles tennis. His major tournament experience to go along with his five ATP singles titles make him an interesting addition to team Djokovic. Also at just 39-years-old, Stepanek has playing experience with several of the current top players in men’s singles tennis. The 2018 ATP World Tour should see a reinvigorated Djokovic. Look for him to challenge the likes of Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal.
