The young German tennis star is already making a name for himself in men’s singles tennis. Finishing atop the rankings for Next Generation players, Zverev performed so well in 2017 that he even qualified for the ATP Finals in London. He is the current world No. 4 in men’s singles tennis.

Throughout the 2017 ATP World Tour, Zverev reached as high as a world No. 3 ranking and also earned five ATP singles titles. Two of those titles were Masters 1000 wins in both Toronto and Rome. His big tournament experience gives him an edge heading into 2018.

The young German tennis star earned five of his six career ATP singles titles in the previous year. He is finding his true rhythm and still has plenty of room to grow. Throughout the past year, Zverev even saw wins over several top players in men’s singles tennis.
Looking ahead to the 2018 ATP World Tour, Zverev is eyeing early action next month. Last year, he reached the third round of play at the Australian Open. The past year featured some of his best performances at Grand Slam events to date. Now, with more experience under his belt, the young tennis star can easily make a run at a Grand Slam singles title in the coming year.

Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal remain the favorites heading into the 2018 ATP World Tour. They swapped Grand Slam singles titles during the previous year. Players such as Alexander Zverev, however, will look to challenge them starting next month at the Australian Open. Action at Melbourne Park is right around the corner and there is no doubt that Zverev and others are already gearing up for play at the Grand Slam event. He will look to carry his momentum from a career year right into play at the first major tournament of the 2018 tour.
