Roberto Bautista Agut defeats Lucas Pouille at the 2018 Dubai Tennis Championships. Winning in straight sets, Bautista Agut takes the men’s singles title over the younger French tennis star.
Sitting in the current world No. 23 position, Bautista Agut is primed to rise in the rankings in the coming days. After a title win in Auckland earlier this year, he now has two singles titles to his name on the 2018 ATP World Tour.
While the loss is disappointing for Pouille, he can be proud of his performance this week at the Dubai Tennis Championships. The young Frenchman is off to a good start in 2018 himself.
