Caroline Wozniacki is ready for action at the 2018 French Open. The Danish tennis star plays her first match this weekend.

Danish tennis star Caroline Wozniacki is one of the favorites this year at the 2018 French Open. She is coming off of a stellar last twelve months worth of tennis. Earlier this year, she kicked off the WTA Tour with her first career Grand Slam title at the Australian Open. There, she met Simona Halep in the finals, defeating the Romanian tennis great. Her Grand Slam success also came on the heels of winning her first ever WTA Finals.

At Roland Garros this month, both Wozniacki and Halep are among the players to beat.

Also surging on the WTA Tour as of late is Elina Svitolina. The Ukrainian is playing some of her best tennis to date. She is the fourth seed at Roland Garros. Wozniacki enters as the second seed. The third seed goes to Garbine Muguruza.

Caroline Wozniacki takes on American Danielle Rose Collins first at the 2018 French Open. Collins will need to be at her very best. She is a 24-year-old tennis player who has amassed a solid singles record so far.

Preparing in Paris, Wozniacki shared a photo of her in a yoga pose on her Instagram account. She is all smiles as she gears up for the Grand Slam event. Caroline Wozniacki is always a fan favorite and will have plenty of people cheering her on at Roland Garros. Previously, she has reached as far as quarterfinals twice at the event. One of those quarterfinals appearances came last year. Ultimately, the title went to Jelena Ostapenko in 2017. She defeated Halep in the finals.
