Eugenie Bouchard is hard at work on the practice courts before the Rogers Cup this week. The Canadian is a local favorite.

Canadian tennis player Eugenie Bouchard is gearing up for action at the 2018 Rogers Cup. She was on the courts prior to the action working up quite a sweat. Wringing out her shirt post-practice, Bouchard took to social media to joke about having a “sweat” version of a wet t-shirt contest. Here’s Genie wringing out the shirt post-practice in Montreal.

The young Bouchard is in action this coming week against Elise Mertens.

The defending champion at this year’s Rogers Cup is Elina Svitolina. In 2017, the Ukrainian tennis star took down Caroline Wozniacki in straight sets for the title.
