Hyeon Chung takes on Wimbledon champion Novak Djokovic first at the Toronto Masters this coming week. Djokovic is a former four-time champion at the event, having won most recently in 2016. The defending champion is rising German tennis star Alexander Zverev.
While Djokovic has reemerged as a top contender in men’s singles tennis since winning the Wimbledon Championships, Chung won their last meeting.

The South Korean tennis star is among the best of the next generation in men’s singles tennis. Chung is 1-1 throughout his young career against the Serbian superstar. The two face off on Monday at the Rogers Cup. Women’s action at the Rogers Cup goes down in Montreal as the men square off in Toronto.
Djokovic is the tournament’s ninth seed in men’s singles. Chung enters unseeded but is easily someone to watch if he can advance past his meeting with the current Wimbledon champion.
