Novak Djokovic Surging Just In Time For US Open

Novak Djokovic has quickly become a frontrunner for the men’s singles title at this year’s US Open. Here’s a look at his chances.
Serbian superstar Novak Djokovic is already one of the greats in men’s singles tennis. Along with Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal, Nole has largely dominated the past decade on the ATP World Tour. Ongoing elbow troubles, however, stifled Djokovic’s chances last year after Wimbledon. The former world number one has rebounded though and is looking better than ever.
This year, he even put on a brilliant run at the Wimbledon Championships, winning what may be his most impressive Grand Slam singles title to date.

Now, Djokovic has emerged as one of the favorites at the upcoming US Open. While Nadal is the defending champion in men’s singles at Flushing Meadows, Djokovic is coming off of a title-win over Federer at the Cincinnati Masters.
He defeats the Swiss legend in straight sets, going 6-4 6-4 in the finals. Nole is surging at just the right time on the ATP World Tour. Federer too though must be considered a top contender at the upcoming major tournament.
Novak Djokovic is a two-time champion in men’s singles at the US Open. Winning in both 2011 and 2015, he has the experience and momentum to make a run this year.
As the final Grand Slam of the 2018 ATP World Tour, Novak Djokovic finds himself as one of the players to beat yet again. Despite an up and down return to the tour following his ongoing elbow issues, Nole appears to has rediscovered himself on the courts.
