Serbian superstar Novak Djokovic enters the finals at the 2018 US Open. He has a slight edge over opponent Juan Martin del Potro.

Novak Djokovic is on the verge of making history… again. While Juan Martin del Potro is one of the best on the 2018 ATP World Tour and in all of men’s singles tennis, Nole must be considered the favorite in their upcoming US Open finals meeting. Djokovic is fresh off of what might have been his greatest Wimbledon title to date.

So far Flushing Meadows, both Djokovic and Del Potro have been unstoppable.

Looking at their career head-to-head, Nole has the edge though. He is 14-4 in ATP singles matches against the Argentine tennis great. Delpo is a former champion in men’s singles at the US Open, but Djokovic is too. Nole has two titles at the major tournament compared to Del Potro’s one in 2009. They face off on Sunday in New York.

Novak Djokovic has dropped just one set throughout his time so far at the US Open. He goes up against the red hot Juan Martin del Potro. Nole, however, has the edge.

Nole defeats Japanese star Kei Nishikori in his semifinals match. The finals is sure to be one for the ages.
