Davis Cup: Argentina vs Colombia

2016 champions Argentina also have to negotiate a play-off, at home to Colombia. They are without US Open finalist Juan Martin Del Potro, so will be led by Diego Schwartzman.

Argentina also have fellow clay specialist Guido Pella in their team. The tie would be more evenly matched if Colombia fielded the successful doubles team of Robert Farah and Juan Sebastian Cabal, however they have a much more inexperienced team with none of the players ranked inside the top 200.

Santiago Giraldo has been in the top 30, however he mainly competes on the challenger tour now. He is Colombia’s best chance of any success in this tie.
