Novak Djokovic Becomes Immediate Favorite in ATP Race to London

Novak Djokovic is riding high on the ATP World Tour right now. The Wimbledon and US Open champion is in second in the ATP Race to London.
Serbian superstar Novak Djokovic is a former winner at the end of year ATP Finals. Winning in 2008, 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2015, Nole must be considered a favorite if he’s in the mix at London. Currently, he is in second place in the ATP Race to London.
Behind just French Open champion Rafael Nadal, Djokovic has made the most of the tournament’s he’s played this year. With two grand slam titles on the year and one Masters 1000, he ought to be considered a top contender at any event moving forward.
Djokovic is surging on the ATP World Tour. His dominant performance at the 2018 US Open saw him defeating Juan Martin del Potro in straight sets during the final. In the semifinals, he also knocked out Japanese tennis star Kei Nishikori. Looking at the Race to London, Del Potro is right behind Djokovic in the number three position. Nishikori is on the fringe at the number 10 spot. It also comes as no surprise that Swiss legend Roger Federer is very close behind Del Potro in the fourth position.
Novak Djokovic has risen in the singles rankings throughout the past two months. His Wimbledon win and US Open title have also moved him into second in the ATP Race to London.
Experience is on the side of Novak Djokovic. Despite Nadal’s dominance throughout the year, Rafa has never won the year end tournament. He has reached the finals before, but never tasted glory. Djokovic has been one of the most successful players at the O2 Arena in London. Look for him to be the favorite in the Race to London moving forward.
