American Jack Sock has been struggling throughout much of the 2018 ATP World Tour in singles action. He jokingly celebrates a match win.

Jack Sock is in the winner’s column this week at the 2018 Stockholm Open. He has not fared as expected in ATP singles action this year on tour. Following his three set victory over Sweden’s Elias Ymer, Sock took to social media to both celebrate and joke about his win.

The young American tennis player says that anything is possible when referring to his round of 16 win over Ymer.

While Sock has struggled in singles so far on the 2018 ATP World Tour, his doubles action has been unprecedented. Winning two grand slam doubles titles, he and fellow countryman Mike Bryan are the 2018 Wimbledon and US Open champions. The wins alongside Bryan gives Sock a total of three men’s doubles slams throughout his young career. His previous title came at the 2014 Wimbledon Championships. Sock and Vasek Pospisil defeated the Bryan Brothers that year for the title.

American tennis star Jack Sock is a winner yet again! He jokes about his seemingly out of nowhere singles match win over Elias Ymer of Sweden at the 2018 Stockholm Open. Sock, a former runner-up finisher in Stockholm, has the potential to breakout at any given moment. His lack of singles success so far is no reason to discount him.

Elsewhere at the 2018 Stockholm Open, American John Isner remains alive. The towering Isner is the tournament’s top seed in men’s singles this year. Other stars along with Jack Sock includes Hyeon Chung of South Korea. Sock, who is a former runner-up at the event, could take advantage of his newfound singles success (one win at a time) and make another title run in Stockholm. Stay tuned to see if the young American can keep it up this week.
