If there’s one player to pick to win the ATP Finals London, it is Novak Djokovic. The Serbian has been dominant at the year end event ever since it first came to the O2 Arena.

Novak Djokovic and the ATP Finals London go hand in hand. As the 2018 ATP World Tour nears another end of year event at the O2 Arena, all eyes turn toward Djokovic. He is a four-time champion since the ATP Finals has moved to London. Prior to play at the O2 Arena, he earned his first career ATP Finals title in Shanghai.

Only four players have ever won the ATP Finals London and two of them will be in action later this month. Those are of course Djokovic… and Roger Federer.

The Swiss legend is a six-time champion in men’s singles at the event, holding the record for most singles titles. He has won twice since the ATP Finals came to London. Both of those wins came just before Nole went on a four year run of titles at the O2 Arena.

Djokovic has claimed the high ground over Federer since his first title in London back in 2012. That year, he defeated the Swiss star in the finals and would go on to knock out Federer in the finals again in both 2014 and 2015. His 2013 win came over King of Clay Rafael Nadal who has never taken the ATP Finals title. Nadal is a two-time runner-up finisher at the O2.

dark. Next. 2018: The Year Of Djokovic

With the previous two year’s champions out of the mix in 2018, Djokovic is the player to beat in London. Grigor Dimitrov won the title last year and former world number one Andy Murray took the title in 2016. That makes Djokovic, the 2015 champion, the most recent one in contention this year at the O2 Arena. Barring any unforeseen circumstances, the ATP Finals London is Djokovic’s to lose this year. While we await the final two qualifiers for action at the O2, take a look at the top four players already in the field. If Nadal fails to play due to injury, we could see the field shift even more.
