Next Gen Player No. 6 – Jaume Munar

The 21-year-old Spaniard can be described as Rafael Nadal’s prodigy as he came through his academy and is from Majorca. He’s won two Challengers this year in the Czech Republic and Italy back to back. He reached the semi-final at the ATP event in Kitzbuhel which was his best result of the year.

Munar also had an excellent win the first round of the French Open, coming from two sets down to beat fellow Spaniard David Ferrer. He would then fall to current world number one Novak Djokovic in his next match at Roland Garros. Munar’s best surface is clay so he may struggle on a fast indoor court.
