ATP Finals stars Jack Sock and Mike Bryan make history to cap off a fantastic year. The pair take the men’s doubles title in London.

Men’s doubles action at the ATP Finals sees Americans Jack Sock and Mike Bryan take home a historic victory. The two paired up this year when Bryan’s twin brother, Bob, went down due to injury. Sock and Bryan have been riding high for most of the 2018 ATP World Tour. Their success culminates with Bryan’s fifth and Sock’s first ever title at the ATP Finals.

Bryan previously won in 2003, 2004, 2009, and 2014. His win alongside Sock also makes him the oldest player in history to take home the ATP Finals men’s doubles title.

The younger Sock has lost his way on the singles circuit this year. After reaching career heights on the 2017 ATP World Tour, the American has struggled to regain his game. On the doubles side of things though, Sock has found a home in the pairing with Bryan. While it will go away when brother Bob returns to action, Sock’s newfound doubles success should help him stabilize his overall play on the ATP World Tour.

Jack Sock and Mike Bryan defeat the French pairing of Pierre-Hugues Herbert and Nicolas Mahut at the 2018 ATP Finals. The title-win is Bryan’s fifth and Sock’s first in men’s doubles at the event. On the men’s singles side, Alexander Zverev defeats Novak Djokovic in a stunning straight set victory. Zverev and Sock’s success give hope to the future of the sport.
