10 – Marin Cilic at the 2019 Australian Open

Time’s running out for Marin Cilic to win his second grand slam. He’s in danger of being left behind by the up and coming generation of players if he doesn’t start being more consistent, especially at grand slams.

He did get to the final at the Australian Open in 2018 but had two quarter-final exits and a round two exit at the other grand slams last year. However, the draw has been kind to him this year and he should be able to navigate the section fairly comfortably.

He plays Bernard Tomic in the first round which should be routine but he could face either Roberto Bautista Agut or Karen Khachanov in round four which would be a tough test. There’s also the small matter of Roger Federer who should be waiting for him in the quarter-final.
