5 – Borna Coric at the 2019 Australian Open

Borna Coric is starting to reach his high potential after an excellent 2018 ATP Tour. He helped Croatia win the Davis Cup as well, beating Roger Federer twice and getting to the final of the Masters event in Shanghai.

This means he’s seeded 11th at the Australian Open this year so should be able to brake his duck of never winning a match there. He’s got a fairly easy section until the fourth round where he should meet Dominic Thiem. Coric should beat Thiem who’s best surface is clay so he could meet Alexander Zverev in what would be an exciting quarter-final.
