The Monte Carlo Masters knows one man as its greatest champion and that man is Rafael Nadal. The 11-time men’s singles champion is also the three-time defending champ.

In the above photo, three-time defending men’s singles champion hits a stellar shot against Guido Pella at the 2019 Monte Carlo Masters. Rafael Nadal is right at home at Monte-Carlo this week. He finds himself in the semifinals, one step away from yet another shot at a title. The Spanish superstar defeats Pella in straight sets, winning 7-6 (1), 6-3.

Everyone loves watching Nadal in action during the clay court season. He is the player to beat right now with Novak Djokovic out of the mix. Plus, he is always the player to beat this time of year. The King of Clay has rallied and put on a strong performance so far at the Monte Carlo Masters. He is gaining momentum as he always does in the action leading up to Roland Garros.
