9. 2012 Wimbledon Final vs Roger Federer

Speaking of that Wimbledon final. It was here that Andy Murray first made himself a national treasure. His show of emotion during that iconic post-match interview thwarted all claims that he was emotionless. He put up a fight in the match, but Federer was too good on that occasion, winning 4–6, 7–5, 6–3, 6–4.
