7. 2016 Wimbledon Final vs Milos Raonic

Fast forwarding a few years to Murray’s most recent grand slam win. His second Wimbledon title, Murray beat Milos Raonic 6–4, 7–6, 7–6 in a thoroughly impressive display. This was an unusual tournament for Murray because after Djokovic’s third-round exit, he was clear favourite to win. In a very mature performance, he was able to deliver, only dropping two sets in the entire tournament.

Raonic remains one of the best players around without a Grand Slam title to his name. The closest he has come was during this 2016 final with Murray. That same year, the Canadian great also reached the semifinals at the Australian Open, falling to Murray there. This was a rematch of epic proportions and it was the British tennis star who emerged on top.
