3. 2015 Davis Cup Final vs David Goffin

Another iconic Murray moment, helping Great Britain win the Davis Cup in 2015, for their first title since 1936. Throughout the tournament, Murray remained unbeaten in singles, only the third man in history to do so.

To take the title, Murray beat Belgium number one David Goffin 6–3, 7–5, 6–3 with a classic lob on match point. Goffin was emerging as a top player in men’s singles tennis. He remains right up there with the best in the sport today. This was a big moment for Murray and one that he will surely remember in the days after he hangs up the racquet. Davis Cup action always delivers incredible storylines and this is one of the biggest in the last decade.
