5. Felix Auger-Aliassime

Age: 19

Current Rank: 20

Auger-Aliassime has one of the brightest futures on tour. At only 19 years old, he’s already appeared in 5 finals, including two at Marseille and Rotterdam already in 2020. Although he hasn’t collected a title in those 5 attempts, he’s still one of the best young players on tour and possibly the best player under 20 years old.

One of his greatest strengths is his serve. He currently ranks 16th in 1st serve percentage with 65.3%. He ranks higher than Federer, Nadal, and Dominic Thiem in that category. His 4.4 aces per match puts him 14th on tour and ahead of Federer, as well as top ten players Matteo Berrettini and Daniil Medvedev. Aliassime’s serve alone could catapult him into the top five, and his success so early in his career only proves that.

His only struggle on tour is with his return game; he currently floats around the top 50 in every category and currently sits 64th in percentage of return games won. It’s obvious that, with his young age, it’ll take a year or two to adapt more with the big serves on tour. After that, his return game will improve and he’ll be on the fast track to the top five.

Next. #4 - Daniil Medvedev. dark
