Predictions for Day 1 at the French Open

The French Open will begin at 5 a.m. EST (11 a.m. local time) on Sunday, as the best in the world will begin their quest on trying to win the second Grand Slam of the year.

To kick things off on Court Philippe Chatrier, it will be the two seed Naomi Osaka who will be taking on Romanian Patricia Maria Tig. That match will be followed by the 2018 and 2019 French Open finalist Dominic Thiem, who will be taking on Pablo Andujar.

There are plenty of great matches that will be taking place on day one at the French Open. Here are my predictions for all 40 of them that are set to be played on Sunday.
