Which player wants to build an empire bigger than tennis?
One particular tennis player wasn’t having the notion that he would just stay put and just be a tennis player. This young gun is fixated on evolving off the court and making an impact away from tennis. Here is what he had to say.
“I don’t want to waste a single day of my life being stagnant or staying still and not elevating myself through experiences”.
“I have a fear of missing out and I don’t want people to know me only for my tennis. Life is about adventures, life is about creating beautiful memories.”
“I want to have a broader, bigger empire than just tennis,”.
“I’ve explored the filmmaking part of what I am capable of and what stories I want to tell. Music allowed me to express something else.”
Who it is? Stick around tomorrow to find out.
Who said Roger was toying with them?
Which player played against Roger Federer in a final and felt like he was being toyed with. If you can figure it out, make sure to comment.
He eventually ended up winning that tournament, but here is what he had to say:
“I came there playing wise in a really bad situation,”
“[I was] not playing well and I was not expecting anything and then slowly somehow, I started to play better and better, winning matches. I got a little bit lucky…then I happened to win the tournament.
For me it was an unbelievable week and I was going into the final relaxed against Roger, who was the favourite and playing well back then.
“I wasn’t putting any pressure [on me] because before when I played the first final I was putting pressure on myself because I wanted to win this first.
“I was just enjoying those two weeks, enjoying my tennis and that is probably a reason why I ended up winning.”
