Which player claims they haven’t reached rock bottom?
In tennis, there’s one particular player who is adamant rock bottom hasn’t been reached. After struggling with form and injury, here is what this player had to say:
“ It’s like where I’m at right now, I wouldn’t say is the bottom. I think there are further places down to go. I think that it has definitely been an experience and I’ve learned a lot from trying to climb my way back up. And I think the biggest thing is just putting the work in consistently day in, day out as much as I can.”
“I’m just doing what I can on, on each day. I think at the end of the day, if I can look back, and say, I got something out of today, and do that every single day, it’s easier to set those short-term sites and goals. Otherwise, things can seem quite daunting if you look too far ahead. In the immediate future, just taking care of the day, I think helps and then accumulating as many of those as possible.

Who thinks this year is the best they’ve felt in a long time?
Right now there’s one player who feels like this is the best they’ve felt in years. We’ll give you a hint-it’s a male tennis player.
“I want to have deep runs in these events. That hasn’t happened in a couple years. I do feel like I’m playing well enough to do that now. I feel like physically this is the best I’ve felt for a long time so if I do have to play three or four matches in a few days, I believe that I’m able to do that and still play at a high level.”.
“I’ve worked really hard to get back to this point”.

Which player looking is not optimistic of their chances this week?
“I am still in recovery and I won’t be pretending … that I have chances of doing well in these next two tournaments, because that would be wrong. I haven’t said it a lot of times in my career but I don’t think I will be capable of going deep. The main priority is getting my body ready and fixed for the clay court swing.
“I made a deal with myself that I will not be skipping the next two events.”
“I need to take my time and have the right medical team by my side to help me recover to the fullest and not have complications like this in the future. When you are dealing with situations like this, the only thing you wish to yourself is to have a career that’s healthy, where you can go out on the court and give it your all without any repercussions.”
“We’ve seen it with some champions like Rafa Nadal who have been struggling with injuries for a long time but are still able to play at a pretty good level.”

Yesterday we asked you to guess which player wanted to build an empire bigger than tennis. That player is Stefanos Tsitisipas- and he wants to have a bigger on-court and off-court presence. He is a two-time grand slam finalist but many people around the world don’t know most tennis players the way that Serena Williams or Roger Federer were known. Secondly, we asked you to take a shot at which player felt like Roger Federer toyed with him when he played him in a final. That player? None other than Dominic Thiem at Indian Wells 2019! The Austrian grand slam champion said this despite prevailing against Roger Federer. Lastly, we mentioned a celebrity who made a comment which one tennis player thought was cringe? That player- our very own Nick Kyrgios! Lastly
