What player wishes for all players to be able to choose their walkout song- and what song did they choose?

One particular top 10 player has proposed that tennis start introducing each individual player by their own chosen ‘walkout song’- a song that a player walks into the arena with. It is a phenomenon common in the WWE- but tennis has been slow to catch on to any new ideas. Here is what this player had to say.

“I wish players could choose their walkout song when they walk on the court”. “I think that would be a cool little thing to add”. “That would be the one thing I would change for tennis”.

This player then also added which song they would like to walk out on to court with.

“Today I was listening to “Love Me” by Lil Wayne and Drake”. “I don’t know if that’s the most appropriate song, so I wouldn’t choose that”. “I would say probably ‘Icon’ by Jaden Smith or ‘Grinding All My Life’ by Nipsey Hussle”.

“Yeah, I’d say probably one of those two songs”. “Probably since we’re in California, probably some Nipsey Hussle”.
