There is one particular top 10 player who has been given an invitation to compete in a challenger event commencing on March 26. This Challenger event is being held in San Remo, Italy. Which player is refusing to get into talks about her injury?

One particular player is refusing to entertain talks about an injury that has been allegedly lingering at this year’s Indian Wells. This is what this player had to say.

“Yeah, I was really pleased to have won today”. “I was the other day, as well”. “But as I said, I was so out of it, I didn’t really know what was going on”. “Like some things that were working in the past weren’t working today, and I adapted”. “Yeah, I was, yeah, just very, very pleased with how I fought and dug in”.

This player has been able to play through the injury with treatment between matches. When asked about the injury, this player refused to divulge much about the injury.

“Yeah, I got some treatment in between”. “It’s the same”. “It’s manageable”.

“Still able to win matches at this level”. “Managing it”. “Yeah, as to what it is, I’m not going to go into it”.

“Yeah, I mean, sometimes you wonder, like, you think, like how is this possible”. “But then very quickly I think you create your own luck”. “It works both ways”. “I think I also have to take the bad luck sometimes, because also, like, good fortune has also come upon me”.

One particular player has opened up on tennis struggles and not wanting to be on court. Speaking recently after a match at Indian Wells, this is what this player had to say on their form slump, as well as mental struggles  last season, which impacted their result on the court. This is what this player had to say.

“Yeah. I mean, last year there were a couple of weeks, maybe more”. “One of them was San Jose, I just couldn’t be on the court”. “I wanted, but I couldn’t”. “It’s not like I was going on the court to tank the match”. “I didn’t want to be there”.

“It’s just I couldn’t”. “Madrid I was also struggling big time”. “I mean, there were a few, yes, and I’m a human being”. “I think I’m allowed also to have those weeks”.
