How to watch 2024 Davis Cup Final: Details for the first day of the semifinals
By Lee Vowell
The first day of the 2024 Davis Cup semifinal will get underway on Friday. To be fair, the teams might not be the most exciting to the casual tennis fan. Both teams are good, but one of them is missing a key player.
That would be Germany who is without ATP No. 2 Alexander Zverev. This might give the advantage to Team Netherlands, but again...sadness might befall them in the final against Italy and Jannik Sinner. Still, it was a good run!
So what should tennis fans expect on Friday? This, as far as we can tell. We expect Germany to win, though those Dutch can be feisty.
Start time, channel, and what to expect from the 2024 Davis Cup Final semifinal 1
Davis Cup Final Semifinals 1 details:
- Start time: 11 am ET and 5 pm in Malaga
- Location: Palacio Deportes Martín Carpena in Malaga, Spain
- Surface: Indoor hard court
The indoor hard court appears to favor neither team. Ultimately - and this is just a guess - both teams would lose to Team Italy. Runner-up is not bad, though.
